We are looking for an experienced accounting lead who is able to review the management accounts prepared by an outsourced book-keeping team and be the main liaison person for the client. Clients outsource their accounting to us and the person in this role is expected to manage the communications and the quality of work delivered to the client.Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviewing management accounts and book-keeping done by outsourced team and ensure that the accounts sent to client are timely and accurate.
Liaising with clients, outsourced book-keeping team, external auditor, tax agent, bankers and government bodies.
Preparing group reports and other relevant reports for specific clients.
Handling full set of accounts (for specific clients where the book-keeping is done in-house).
Handling SST submissions and other SST matters.Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years of solid working experience in preparing and reviewing financial accounts.General Requirements:
Highly proficient in English, both written and verbal.
Able to write clear and accurate business replies.
Able to liaise independently with clients, outsourced book-keeping team and other stakeholders in a highly professional manner.
Highly organized and able to multi-task effectively.
Meticulous about the accuracy of accounting records.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
Good problem-solving ability and can think outside the box.
Preferably has experience working in an accounting firm or BPO setup.
