Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for all MY & SG entities:
• Oversee and delivery quality financial reporting for month/quarter/year-end close.
• Working closely with Operation team, Shared Service Centre team, Finance Business Partners and other stakeholders to ensure smooth daily routine tasks and month end close.
• Review BS reconciliation to ensure all numbers reported are supported.
• Responsible for all government related reporting and surveys, ensure timely submission and accurate data reported.
• Maintain statutory filings and reporting deadlines for all entities handled.
• Review GST reporting bi-monthly (i.e. Every 2 months once)
• Take lead on internal and external audit, manage stakeholders and ensure timely submission of audit requests.
• Support new business initiatives, work on streamline and standardization of processes and new system implementations.
• Maintaining and ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to company guidelines
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned Job Requirements Requirements/Qualifications(must have)
In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
• Able to work in fast-paced and high transactions volume environment.
• Able to multitask and work under high pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle key stakeholders.
• Good problem-solving skills, with proven ability to apply finance knowledge and experience to a diverse range of financial issues specifically in marketplace area.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
