Description
Lay the groundwork: As the first accounting professional on the ground in Malaysia, you'll set up and implement our accounting processes and systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations. This includes tasks like chart of accounts development, establishing internal controls, be the contact point with local authoriries such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, and etc. Become a financial whiz: You'll be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, from bookkeeping and account reconciliations to monthly/quarterly closing procedures, also assist on business analysis and budgeting. Your keen eye for detail will ensure accurate and timely financial data. Collaborate with the best: Work hand-in-hand with our headquarters team, gaining valuable exposure to regional stakeholders and international accounting practices. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA, ACCA, CIMA designation a plus)Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a fast-paced accounting environmentStrong understanding of accounting principles and international financial reporting standards (IFRS)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectivelyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in accounting software and excel Job Offer
