TheAccounts Receivable (AR) Account Assistantis responsible for managing and maintaining the company's receivables.
This includes ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, tracking payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving any issues related to customer payments.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and send out invoices to customers accurately and on time.
Ensure all invoices comply with company policies and procedures.
Maintain detailed records of all invoices sent, received, and outstanding.
Payment Processing:
Monitor and track incoming payments to ensure timely receipt.
Process and apply payments to customer accounts accurately.
Prepare and manage bank deposits.
Reconcile customer accounts regularly to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to customer accounts.
Assist in month-end closing by preparing AR reports and summaries.
Customer Communication:
Communicate with customers regarding their accounts, invoices, and payments.
Address customer inquiries and resolve payment issues in a professional and timely manner.
Follow up on overdue accounts and coordinate with customers to arrange payment plans if necessary.
Requirements
Education: Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
Work experience: Minimum 2 years of accounting/financial management experience
Language requirement: English (Business fluency)
Possesses good and effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with personnel from different departments
