Accounts Assistant

Details of the offer

Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring invoices and payments are appropriately approved and processed in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with established procedures and internal controls.
Undertake End of Month functions and monthly reporting.
Familiar with foreign currency exchange gain or loss.
Reconciliation of bank accounts.
Maintain professional relationships and assist with account queries.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and administrative functions.
Providing other general ad hoc administration support to other departments.
To be successful you will:
Minimum 1 year previous experience in accounts/ freight forwarding.
Relevant qualifications and/or experience in performing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions with knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Sound knowledge and experience of accounting and administrative practices, procedures and processes.
Previous experience using computerized accounting systems (Cargowise), spreadsheets and other associated computer software.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle a number of tasks concurrently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to plan, be organized, prioritize work, meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
Attention to detail, accuracy and capacity to problem solve.
Fluent in English and Chinese.
