Job Requirements The ideal candidate should hold a diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or professional qualifications, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage.At least 1 year of audit experience and 2 years of hands-on experience managing a full set of accounts are preferred.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Able to work independently with minimum supervision. Job Descriptions Accounting Duties:
Accounting Compliance & Records ManagementEnsure all accounting records, systems, and documentation comply with the Company's policies, accounting standards, statutory requirements, and tax regulations.Maintain a full set of accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.Oversee proper documentation and filing to support all accounting entries.
Financial Reporting & AuditsPrepare accurate and timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for internal and group reporting purposes.Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing schedules and analyses for statutory audits and tax submissions.Monitor and reconcile cashflows and perform month-end bank reconciliations.
Tax ComplianceEnsure compliance with all tax regulations, including GST and income tax filings.Prepare relevant documentation for tax submissions and liaise with tax authorities when required.
Budgeting & Strategic SupportAssist in the development and monitoring of budgets to support strategic decision-making.Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management based on financial data.
Liaison with External StakeholdersAct as the main point of contact for external parties such as financial institutions, auditors (both internal and external), and government bodies. Administrative Duties:
Responsible to administer end-to-end payroll processing and staff claimsAssist with ad hoc tasks and assignments as necessary.Assist in preparing the financial components of tender documents when required.
