Accounts Executive (Ap/Ar Controller)

Responsible for all aspects of accounting in areas of AP/AR function which includes preparation of payment vouchers, payments, journals, debit notes, and credit notes.
Process & verify invoices related to accounts payables/receivables, ensuring accurate AP/AR documentation with proper approval submission.
Monitor AP/AR aging, ensuring they are within the agreed credit terms and limit.
Track invoices relating to prepayment, deposit, accrual, and other creditors for proper accounts recording & posting, ensuring timely closing of monthly accounts.
Process & monitor incoming/outgoing payments, verifying & posting of receipts/payments timely.
Perform monthly reconciliation schedules and follow up on outstanding items, like creditors, debtors, and bank/inter-company reconciliation.
Assist in streamlining and improving the AP/AR process, identifying areas of performance improvement.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned when required.
Liaise with auditor and tax agent on matters that relate to AP/AR.
Requirements
At least a Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Accounting or other relevant accounts qualification.
2 – 3 years of related working experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an added advantage.
Numerate and analytical, with good attention to details.
Ability to multi-task and work under a pre-defined reporting timeline.#J-18808-Ljbffr
