Accounts Executive (General Ledger)

Responsibilities:- Take charge in handling and prepare all GL related Journals, ensure that accounting entries are posted accurately & able to meet deadlines.Analyze and allocate expenses to the correct business unit and cost centres.Accruals and prepayment are properly accounted for in the month.To ensure daily sales are recorded accurately and perform bank reconciliation monthly.Check, sort and prepare monthly payments to sundry creditors.Preparation of invoice to suppliers and tenants are promptly done accordingly.Being able to liaise with relevant departments to ensure timely documents such as accrual submissions and invoicing are properly done in a timely manner.To supervise the Accounts Assistant to ensure daily tasks are performed by the given datelines.To carry out ad-hoc assignments as assigned by Accounts Manager & the person assigned by Accounts Manager.Liaising with bankers, auditors & tax agents on relevant matters. Requirements LCCI/Diploma/Degree/Professional Certificate in Accountancy/ Finance/ Banking or equivalent.Candidates with relevant experience in the retail industry are highly encourage to apply.Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office particularly in Excel.This candidate must be highly independent & have a strong sense of responsibility.Have a good interpersonal skills in communicating with people across all levels and a pleasant personality.
