Key Responsibilities
Full-Set Accounts Management : Handle full-set accounts and month-end and year-end closing, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
Statutory Compliance & Reporting : Ensure compliance with Malaysian Accounting and Tax statutory requirements.
Liaison with External Parties : Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries to coordinate audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting.
Supervision & Mentorship : Guide and supervise junior accountants, reviewing their work for accuracy, providing training, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
3+ years in full-set accounting, with a background in audit preferred for statutory compliance expertise.
Able to converse in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia & English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Strong focus on precision in financial records and reporting to ensure compliance and reliability.
Effective interpersonal skills to liaise with auditors, tax agents, secretaries, and team members.
