We are looking for an Accounts Executive to join our HQ team.
We provide a 5-day work week, modern office environment and free gym membership for you and your nominee!
Job Responsibilities:Cover all spectrums of the finance functions including operational finance, corporate finance, taxation as well as management reporting
Handle full sets of account (General ledger, Trial balance, Income Statement, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow statement)
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements as relating to statutory financial reporting process, SST and any other tax statutory submission
Responsible for Management & Financial Report, Forecast Cash Flow and Tax Planning
If there is insufficient funds for upcoming payment, to notify or request funds from other companies.
Prepare payment (prepare Payment Voucher, supporting documents & upload payment to bank) on daily basis
Assist to provide costing of goods especially for goods purchased from overseas
Double check on invoices issued by junior assistant on whether it is supported with proper documentation such as purchase order, work order, quotation, service report & etc
Check & review Receiving Voucher whenever there is fund inflow from trade / non-trade debtors which has prepared by junior staff
Liaise with bank personnel regarding bank matter such as redemption / placement, request of bank statement & fixed deposit statement, request for Corporate Rate whenever there is TT transactions involved and assist in preparing document and information requested by bank personnel for annual review for bank facilities
To do bank reconciliation every month end to ensure the transaction and balance recorded in Auto-count is tally to the actual fund in the bank account
Update fixed asset schedule whenever there is any addition or deletion of assets & take up appropriate depreciation / disposal as well as written off transaction into account during year end
Liaise with company secretary regarding Annual Return Submission / AGM & Resolution / Director Resolution and other relevant government authorities eg.
Department of Statistics, Custom, LHDN & etc
Assist in liaising with auditor and tax agent for audit and tax matter
Attend annual stocktake with auditor, prepare stock report & internal stock take between outlets
Handle the complete planning and audit activities for ensuring completion of statutory and external audits
Undertake ad-hoc functions, assignments, and related duties as and when required
Bookkeeping and accounting skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Auto-Count Accounting Software (or equivalent)
Able to analyze, understand and interpret basic financial data
Detailed and organized
Able to communicate and interact effectively with people
