The Accounts Executive is accountable for the full spectrum of accounting operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform full spectrum of accounting functions (including but not limited to month-end closing activities, maintaining accurate journal entries and monthly reconciliation, GST submissions, stock-take, etc.)
Manage accounts payable and receivables to help the organization determine working capital.
Prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow.
Oversee customer receipts, vendor payments, claims processing, and records into the accounting system on a timely basis.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to align with the strategic goals of the organization.
Support external audit & tax activities and respond to queries.
Assist in ad-hoc assignments.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or related discipline.
At least 3 years of relevant working experience with experience in full set accounts.
Knowledge of accounting software ERP is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proactive and able to work with little direct supervision.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel skills.
