Responsibilities: Monitor cashflow and ensure payments are made in a timely manner.Manage full-set management accounts closings & analysis on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.Manage and generate periodic management analysis and reports, including full spectrum of budgeting for business performance and planning.Manage, supervise, check & control accounting book-keeping operations of full set of accounts i.e. FAR, AP, AR, Other GL, Cashbook, Journals and Reconciliation accounts.Assist in all corporate finance and treasury functions such as liaising with bankers, FX contract, fund transfer, fund raising, etc.Liaise and follow up with Auditor / Tax Agent / Co-Secretariat / LHDN and to ensure compliance and timely submission of all statutory related matter; e.g. SST filing, Tax filling, MIDA, Co. Annual Return filling, Kastam application/certification/renewal/clearance and etc.Liaise with other external parties such as customers and vendors for all financial related matters.Uphold Accounts & Finance department's policy, SOP, work processes & work instructions to be relevant, effective and efficient.Supervise and guide junior staff in accounting operations and guide junior staff in trouble shooting and problem solving as and when the situation requires.Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.Support month-end and year-end closing processes.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Communicate with managers and/or Directors on work status. Requirements: Candidate would preferably possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field.A minimum of three-year related work experience is preferred, experience in plantation or palm oil industry would be an added advantage.Language required: English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages would be an advantage.Strong analytical, communication and computer skills.Aggressive, meticulous and able to work with minimal supervision.Applicants must be willing to travel.
