We are the only local manufacturing company that produces Power Capacitors and Lighting Capacitors.
If you see the TNB panels, the components (Power Capacitor) are our product. Or if you are using the North-South Highway, the street lights on the highway will also contain our lighting capacitors!
Besides our core business manufacturing capacitors, we are also very involved in power quality efficiency ensuring we support sustainability of Mother Earth.
Who we are looking for in ELCO?We need someone who is proactive, hands-on, meticulous, career oriented, ethical, analytical & likes problem solving.
The person will need to be open to new challenges in helping to re-design the cost structure.
If the person has Financial Accounting background, this requirement would be an added advantage.
What do we want you to do in ELCO?Work as Accounts Executive - Reporting to Corporate Accounting Manager.
Prepare payments to vendors.
Monitor Accounts Payable (AP) aging accounts and reconciliation.
Update and maintain cashbook and bank reconciliation.
Handle daily accounts transaction and assist in monthly closing.
Assist in preparing full set accounts including monthly reconciliation, statutory financial statements and annual income tax submission.
Assist in annual business forecasting and budgeting process as well as monthly business reporting.
Perform variance analysis on financial performance against budget benchmark.
Assist in cost efficiency project to ensure budgeted profits are met.
Analyze processes within manufacturing line to ensure cost efficiency is met.
Maintain proper filing systems for accounts and office documents.
Prepare bank statements and payments received and posting of the same in the ERP system.
Assist in the analysis of the financial ratios of the accounting reports.
Perform Accounts Receivables (AR) activities and ensure that collection for customers is followed up consistently.
Assist the Manager to produce and analyze management accounting/costing report especially related to the wastage project on a weekly basis.
Recommend ways of cutting cost and monitor the cost-effective data.
Assist Account Manager on administrative matters.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.
What do you need to have to apply?Good analytical, problem-solving skills, independent and enjoy meticulous work.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Strong adaptability to changes in work conditions.
Experience with ERP Syteline System and Autocount is an advantage, but not required.
A Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is preferred.
At least 2 years of working experience is an added advantage.
Professional qualifications such as ACCA / CIMA / CPA or any other related paper is an added advantage.
