We're seeking an experienced, strong analytical and motivated individual to be a part of our team.
This full-time role will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting support to the Finance department.
Key responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day financial transactions.
Prepare month-end journals accurately as part of the month-end closing process.
Reconcile bank balances to maintain accurate financial records.
Review payment vouchers prepared by the Accounts Assistant and process supplier payments.
Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
Support the manager in preparing cash forecasts and updating information on debtors and creditors.
Prepare weekly sales and order reports to HQ for group reporting.
Prepare and review the SST filing, process LC payments, and update the monthly accounts schedule.
Assist in liaising with bankers, external auditors, and the company secretary, as well as in addressing tax-related queries from tax agents to ensure compliance.
Undertake any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior as needed.
Job Requirement:
Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance or related discipline with at least 3 years working experience.
Experience with accounting software such as the New BC (New Business Central) System and MS Dynamics Navision.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel, would be advantageous.
Familiar with Custom SST, LHDN requirements, and regulations.
Excellent time management skills to meet turnaround times and assigned deadlines.
Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken).
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, fast learner, team player, and a good collaborator.
Must possess own transport & willing to work in Shah Alam.
