Handling full set of accounts and all aspect of monthly financial and management reporting, budgetary controls and forecasting.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Receivable (AR):
Manage the AR process, ensuring timely collections and credit control.
Monitor accounts for overdue payments, initiate collection efforts, and maintain an accurate aging report.
Reconcile AR accounts and ensure all payments are accurately posted, addressing discrepancies as needed.
Ensure compliance with accounting regulations when handling customer payments and financial transactions.
Accounts Payable (AP):
Verify and process vendor invoices promptly, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
Schedule and process timely vendor payments, adhering to payment terms and managing cash flow.
Reconcile accounts payable regularly, resolving discrepancies and ensuring accurate records.
Ensure payments comply with accounting and tax regulations, and assist with AP reporting.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, adherence to accounting principles, and proper documentation.
Assist in the preparation of audit schedules, provide documentation, and support audit activities.
Assist and coordinate with external tax agents in answering tax queries.
Requirements:
At least a Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or related fields
Min 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Able to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Familiar with Auto Count software is an added advantage.
Good interpersonal skills, meticulous, positive work attitude and team player.
Required language(s): Able to speak & write proficiently in English & Bahasa.
Candidates fluent in Mandarin is an added advantage as role may require candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.
