Perform various accounting-related duties which involve the handling of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Maintain and handle daily account transactions.
Responsible for daily accounting operations and to ensure compliance with the Company policies and statutory requirements/guidelines.
Preparation of timely and accurate monthly management reports, cash flow management, forecast and budgeting.
Responsible for the timely closing of monthly accounts.
Liaison with bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, etc.
Prompt submission of monthly periodical & ad hoc reports.
Preparation of the yearly accounting and presentation to external auditors.
Maintain efficient filing systems for audit and statutory requirements.
Responsible for any other ad-hoc reports and functions as assigned by the superior.
Requirements:Candidate must possess at least an Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 1 year of working experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Accounting Software MYOB will be an added advantage.
At least 2-3 years of working experience in accounting.
Ensure timely submission of a full set of accounts, monthly financial reports, and assist in credit control, billing, and collection as well as assist in any other accounting-related work.
Independent and able to work under pressure in a multitasking environment.
Responsible, meticulous, and possess a good working attitude.
