Lotus Cars Europe B.V. is responsible for the Marketing, Sales and After Sales of the Lotus Cars products in the European region. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Finance Department to join us in our European HQ based inAmsterdam.
Summary: In this role you are part of Lotus Cars International Finance Shared Service Centre, responsible for all European Markets.
The goal is to ensure the timely and accurate capture of financial information/output necessary for effective management decisions, and in compliance with Local GAAP, local statutory laws and international accounting standards, corporate policies/procedures and key controls. You will report directly to the Accounts Payable Manager Global. What you'll do: Accounting mailbox management and follow-ups; answering queries from employees, vendors and customers Weekly payment proposal creation Payment clearing related to Vendor Journals Process Employee Travel & Expenses Reconciliation of supplier ledger statements Daily and timely invoice processing in multiple legal entities, with PO crosschecks Timely follow-up for unmatched and/or unapproved invoices Assisting with month end closing and/or review of monthly account reconciliations What you'll bring: Previous experience working in an international Accounts Payable environment is a plus Preferably educated to Bachelor's Degree level or equivalent in a relevant field Experience working with ERP systems e.g. SAP Excellent communications skills both verbally and written in English Consistent, clear, helpful, professional and polite communication with employees, vendors and customers What we offer: You'll be working in a great office location with a great bar, restaurant, PlayStation and basketball court.
