Job Description: Location: Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaType of hiring: ContractKey ObjectivesDevelop and implement a comprehensive Regulatory Compliance Plan to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and stakeholder expectations.Conduct periodic compliance audits and assessments to confirm that all compliance requirements are fulfilled.Coordinate the interface between Facilities and Operations during the transition to operational readiness.Regularly report on Regulatory performance against established KPIs to Project Managers and the Project Sponsor.Provide feedback and input to contractors regarding regulatory requirements for construction and installation.Assess, identify, and mitigate regulatory and project risks that may impact the project schedule, cost, or variations, and collaborate with production, operations, and project teams on action and recovery plans.Monitor and review regulatory achievements with contractors to ensure project progress meets key milestones.Ensure compliance with regulatory and permitting requirements for both onshore and offshore projects.Manage documentation, inspections, liaison, and procurement of necessary regulatory approvals.Identify and secure relevant regulations, codes, and standards impacting all phases of the project, including design, fabrication, transportation, installation, commissioning, and operations.Obtain necessary permits for the development of onshore and offshore installations in Malaysia.Develop and deliver regulatory compliance training programs for employees and facilitate workshops and seminars on regulatory topics.Monitor, follow up, and expedite the approval of required regulatory requirements.Participate in Field Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Integration Tests (SIT).Engage in facilities inspection activities at contractors fabrication yards to ensure compliance and quality standards.QualificationsUniversity degree (or equivalent) in Engineering.Minimum of 10 years of experience with major oil and gas projects.Proficient in computer applications, including spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with proven team-building abilities.Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
