Job DescriptionScope of Position
To handle the incoming and outgoing freight for the air warehouse.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Perform all warehouse control duties including receiving, put away, picking, packing, releasing, and stock taking functions.
Assist in coordinating with truckers for delivery of warehousing services while following the driver validation procedures.
Update shipment event codes in the system.
Audit picking activities by using warehouse checklist from agents and truckers including freight labeling, and update event codes.
Ensure warehouse cargo manifests are checked, paperwork signed, and trailers sealed.
Ensure products are stored in the proper designated, safe area and presentable condition.
Report any OSD shipments and document relevant information, updating respective customer service on any available photos.
Maintain proper and updated inventory records to meet customer requirements.
Maintain warehouse facility and housekeeping including checking of forklift, availability of battery water, battery power, etc., in effective and efficient condition.
Take up additional responsibilities as required to meet the Company's needs.
QualificationsCandidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 to 2 years of related working experience in a similar position.
Good knowledge of computer and MS Office applications.
Good command of written and spoken English.
