With a competitive coverage of Trading Houses, Producers, Majors, Utilities, Merchants, Hedge Funds, Investment Banks and Brokerages; Redstone Commodity Search can confidently offer you an edge in today's volatile market.Redstone Commodity Search are working with an International Agricultural Trading House looking for a Head of Compliance to join their team in Mumbai.Key Responsibilities / TasksStrategic Compliance Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy aligned with company goals, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and overseeing policy development.Risk Mitigation and Training: Conduct regular risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and establish a robust compliance training program for all employees.Monitoring and Reporting: Implement monitoring mechanisms, internal controls, and reporting systems to track compliance activities, report violations, and recommend corrective actions.External Engagement and Ethical Culture: Serve as the primary contact for regulatory bodies, promote an ethical culture, and develop an incident response plan for timely resolution of compliance violations.Industry Awareness and Reporting to Leadership: Stay informed about industry trends, report compliance performance to senior management and the Board of Directors, highlighting areas of concern and improvement.Reports into Director & Group CFO.Key Qualifications / ExperienceMasters degree in a related field.Have held a compliance position in the commodity trading space for the past 10+ years.Tax Compliance knowledge and understanding.Confirmed advanced knowledge with customs regulations, complex classification, origin determination and free trade program management.Located in Mumbai.#J-18808-Ljbffr
