You will be part of our Air Logistics team, adding your market knowledge along with your development expertise and skills to the delivery of business development and growth.Your RoleYour primary objective will be to deliver against our growth strategy by ensuring that business development is a priority and key factor in gaining and retaining volumes.Your ResponsibilitiesYou will do this by working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:To act as the product champion and subject matter expert, liaising between product, marketing/sales (especially trade lane sales), key customers and station operations with specific focus on business customers.
To define, implement and execute our business development strategies, in particular pricing/tariffs, to maximize profits and grow our market share.
To engage with our overseas development and pricing teams, reviewing the best solutions and strategy for short, mid and long term opportunities.
To design product priorities/targets (volume/price/campaigns) along with a business plan for focus routes.
To conduct market profiling, competitor research and analysis to understand and identify market opportunities and challenges; providing feedback on pricing competitiveness based on hit ratios and trade lane manager input.
To share information on key customers with pricing teams to allow them to support with the right solution when a request/quote is received.
Your Skills And ExperiencesA bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Several years of experience in air freight operations, commercial or business development, with a proven track record of success.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
