Job Scope
1.Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all air conditioning systems.
Prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure uninterrupted functionality, especially in high-use or critical areas.
2. Team Leadership and Supervision
Lead, train, and manage a team of air conditioning technicians, ensuring they perform tasks safely and effectively.
Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance for complex troubleshooting.
3. Repair and Troubleshooting
Diagnose system malfunctions and direct repairs, including parts replacements and system recalibration.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain optimal cooling efficiency.
4. System Monitoring and Optimization
Monitor system performance, ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with standards.
Make recommendations for system upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency or adapt to new needs.
5. Inventory and Budget Management
Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
Prepare and manage the departments budget, including expenses for repairs, parts, and labor.
6. Compliance and Safety
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
Conduct routine safety inspections and provide training on best practices for working with air conditioning systems.
7. Documentation and Reporting
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
Report on maintenance outcomes, including issues, resolutions, and recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
At least a SKM or Diploma In Air conditioning.
Minimum 4-5 years experience working as Aircond Technician / Senior Technician in a commercial setting.
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems , especially commercial air conditioning system.
Leadership and team management experience.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
