Algorithm Engineer Intern - Search & Recommendation (Summer 2024)

Job Description:Develop and implement state-of-the-art machine learning models to optimize retrieval and relevance modules in e-commerce search including the application of text classification, semantic-based relevance models, multi-modal and multi-lingual models, large language models, etc.Responsible for optimizing query understanding in e-commerce search scenarios, including query rewriting, auto-correction, query structured understanding, intent classification, etc.Perform fundamental research and experiment with cutting-edge NLP technologies including LLM, multi-modal pre-training models, etc.Requirements:Current student studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant majors who is expected to graduate in 2025.Be familiar with at least one of the following programming languages, C++/golang/Python, has good knowledge of data structure and algorithmBe familiar with NLP and Search retrieval projectsSensitive to data and business, passionate about technical challenges, and have excellent critical thinking skillsEffective team player and has good communication skills
