Analyst Sr, Business Intelligence

This position will be focused on business intelligence (BI) & reporting and will be located in Malaysia in order to effectively interface with our other team members in the region.onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join their IT Data & Analytics team to deliver the business intelligence (BI) technologies, processes, and dashboards the company needs to be a data-driven organization.This BI Analyst / Developer role, located in Malaysia, is primarily focused on guiding our delivery of world class business BI & reporting solutions across the enterprise.
This will require a combination of technical expertise in BI tools and the accompanying data architecture, as well analytical & communication skills necessary to deliver truly valuable analytics to the onsemi business organizations.This opportunity will ask a candidate to have the following performance objectives: Directly develop BI dashboards for specific business domains Work with business stakeholders to understand and document reporting requirements Follow and continuously improve BI standards & best practices to ensure our BI platforms are effective and efficient Foster our BI developer community with knowledge sharing and training opportunities Collaborate with our vendors supporting these BI platforms to ensure we're leveraging latest features and getting proper support Produce high quality documentation and communication materials University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience At least 3-5 years of experience developing business intelligence dashboards & reports Strong data analytical and design skills including SQL language Working knowledge of major BI tools; Tableau & Power BI preferred Ability to troubleshoot data issues affecting downstream BI and applications Experience in Scrum & Agile development practices Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Team player able to work in an international team across time zones
