About the Job:
Experience using ANSYS HFSS, SI Wave, Q3D Extractor, and Altium. Strong SI/PI/EMI theory and application, modeling, analysis, and simulation to develop various design FEA and CAD parameterization tasks to provide suitable design recommendations for design validation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Familiarity with signal and power integrity simulation analysis including eye diagram analysis, crosstalk analysis, transmission line impedance simulations, bathtub curves, TDR, power delivery networks, and power plane decoupling analysis.
Experience with using ANSYS HFSS, ANSYS SIwave, and/or ANSYS Q3D Extractor simulation software involving real-world, industry-level applications.
Familiarity with package, printed circuit boards, design processes, and EDA Tools.
Translate actual problems to Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models, interpret analysis results, and select the best solution which includes linear & non-linear analysis.
Monitor and evaluate simulation software capabilities and industry trends.
Deploy standardized processes and work methodologies.
Benchmark and implement productivity improvement methods.
Collaborate with design & validation teams to enhance design optimization.
Demonstrate logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English.
Deep understanding of timing budgets and jitter analysis. Familiarity with lab measurement equipment like Oscilloscopes, TDR, Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), etc.
System and Product knowledge: Thorough understanding of customer requirements, product, and application needs required for creating effective designs.
RequirementsPrimary Skills:
Validate concept designs using simulation techniques and determine design robustness critical to function requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Perform Signal Integrity analysis, collaborating with different engineering teams to balance system/product constraints.
Perform pre-layout and post-layout simulation flow with a focus on PDN.
Create simulation models and develop simulation methodology.
Provide design specifications and guidelines with clear risk trade-offs.
