Our Field Applications Engineering team is seeking for young talented students who are willing to learn and consistent in long-term goals to prepare for the next generation of professional IC Design engineers at Synopsys.
Position: Applications Engineering Intern
Location: Penang, Malaysia
Duration: 28 weeks from Sep, 2024 - Apr, 2025 (full-time basis)
Internship Program: As an Applications Engineering Intern, you will:
Be trained and learn the necessary skills to provide technical and engineering insight and direction to support and improve usability, applicability and adoption pf products, platforms, and solutions to meet customer business needs.
Be a part of a highly skilled field application engineering team, to drive the success of Synopsys Physical Design Flows, focusing on Fusion Compiler.
Be involved in development of new tools/scripts to assist in accelerate work efficiency and customer, involved in customer design debug, flow and methodology development for advance process nodes.
Requirements: 3rd-year students, majoring in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
Available for 28-week internship program, full-time basis (Sep, 2024 – Apr, 2025).
Strong desire to learn and explore new technologies.
Good analysis and problem-solving skills.
Exposure to scripting/programming (TCL, PERL, Python).
Good English communication skills.
