About the roleAs an Architectural Assistant at Choo Gim Wah Architect, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team in delivering high-quality architectural design solutions for a range of projects.
This is a full-time position based in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.
What you'll be doing
Assisting in the development of architectural designs and drawings using CAD software & Google SketchUp
Contributing to the preparation of planning applications, building regulation submissions and other statutory approvals
Collaborating with the design team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards
Conducting site visits, surveys and measurements to inform the design process
Liaising with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to understand their requirements
Maintaining and updating project documentation and records
Supporting the team in any other ad-hoc architectural tasks as required
What we're looking for
Degree/Master's Degree in Architecture or a related field
1-3 years of experience in an architectural practice, preferably in a similar role
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders
A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Passion for architecture and a desire to contribute to the design process
