Job Purpose As a Retail Area Manager, you will oversee the performance and operations of multiple retail outlets. You are to ensure that each outlet under your supervision meets or exceeds the sales targets, maintains high levels of customer satisfaction, and operates efficiently and profitably.
Duties and Responsibilities 1.Sales & Operations - Developing and Implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
- Analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Managing budget and expenses for each outlet.
- Ensure the outlet meet company standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness & safeness.
- Proper inventory management – ensure each outlet has the right amount of inventory & the products are handled with care at all times.
- Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
2.People Management - Provide guidance, support & feedback to the branch managers to ensure they are meeting goals and objectives.
- Ensure each employee are receives proper training and ongoing support to help them perform their job duties at the highest level.
- Ensure each outlet are is fully staffed with qualified and motivated employees who are trained to provide exceptional customer service.
3.Customer Service - Building relationship with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders in the community.
- Improve the overall customer experience in the outlets – customer service and engagement, speed of service etc.
- Resolve customer complaints by determining the cause of the problem; expedite correction or adjustment; follow up to ensure resolution.
4.Others - Manage other ad-hoc tasks/projects as other responsibilities to meet the company's objectives and goals.
Qualifications - Minimum 5 years' experience as Area Manager, Branch Manager, or similar managerial role.
- Sound understanding of optimization of outlet operations and standards for success.
- Strong business acumen with a strategic orientation.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
Working Area: East Malaysia - Sarawak (Bintulu, Miri, Kuching)
