Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Sales Manager (Automotive) to lead our automotive sales channel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing or recruit new strategic distributor partnerships, and managing a high-performing sales team. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the automotive industry and a proven track record in sales leadership.


Responsibilities Key Responsibilities |
Sales Strategy & Execution |  
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet revenue and growth targets for the automotive channel.

Team Leadership |
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales goals. Set clear performance expectations and regularly review progress.

Client Relationship Management |  
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners in the automotive sector. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through regular communication and issue resolution.

Market Analysis & Insights |
Stay updated on market trends, competition, and consumer behavior in the automotive industry. Utilize this information to adjust strategies and explore new business opportunities.

Sales Forecasting & Reporting |
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses to present to senior management. Monitor sales metrics and adjust tactics as necessary.

New Business Development |
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive channel. Work closely with the marketing team to develop lead generation and promotional initiatives.


Partnership Management |
Establish and maintain partnerships with automotive manufacturers, dealerships, and other relevant industry stakeholders to enhance channel performance.

Budget Management |
Manage the sales budget effectively, ensuring that budget are allocated to maximize ROI and achieve financial targets.


What we are looking for Qualifications | Education |
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

Experience |
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a management role within the automotive industry.

Skills |
 - Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closure.
 - Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a team.
 - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
 - Knowledge of SFA/DMS software and sales performance tools.

Industry Knowledge |
Deep understanding of the automotive industry, including market trends, competitors, and key players.
