About the role
HCL Technologies Malaysia SDN BHD is seeking an experienced AS400 Developer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As an AS400 Developer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining mission-critical applications using Aldon, RPG, RPGLE, and other technologies tailored for the banking industry. This is a full-time position.
What you'll be doing Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable AS400 applications using Aldon, RPG, RPGLE, and other banking-specific technologiesImplement and manage software change control using ALDON.Maintain and enhance existing AS400 applications to meet evolving business requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and end-users, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues in AS400 applicationsParticipate in the implementation and testing of new features and functionalityContribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practicesWhat we're looking for Minimum 6+ years of experience as an AS400 Developer, with a strong background in Aldon, RPG, RPGLE, and banking industry applicationsHands-on experience with ALDON for software version control and change management.Proficient in designing and developing AS400 applications, including experience in database design, coding, testing, and deploymentFamiliarity with banking regulations, compliance, and security requirementsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issuesStrong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishWhat we offer
