VR-102066**Project description**:Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the projectThe Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.**Responsibilities**:Develop and maintain AS400 programs as according to business user's requirements. AS400 (IBM iSeries), RPGLE/400, CLP/400 and COBOL/400 programming language, As400/Query, SQL and IBM MQ experience is essential to perform the daily task efficientlyTranslate requirement into technical document accurately, design and development according to specification, testing & implementation supportSystem maintenance and system support - support system upgrade and fixes, monitor and ensure the system operations as designed, respond to incident and provides resolution, embrace established SDLC to address system change request/enhancement, review of business request and advice on impact, provide timely support to user query and attend to error investigation on modules developed in AS400 and Windows environment**Skills**:Must have3-6 years of experience in AS400 development, system analysis, programming and implementation in the Financial Institution or Banking environmentGood understanding of bank process and regulatory requirements and able to provide solution according to business; Prior business knowledge in taxation will be an added advantageAdditional knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, Java, Java scripting is requiredGood understanding of IT Security and experience in handling of API servicesCompetent in PL/SQL DB2 and well-versed with IBM MQExperience in Utilities and Tool Software - ALDON CMS LMi & LMe, DOS Utility, BMC Control-M and RemedyExperience in the setup of end-to-end interface connection with other systems using Connect:Direct and FTP utilityPossess excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem solving, documentation, communication skillsAble to multi-task and switch between various tasks/projects with tight deadlinesNice to haveNA**Other**:LanguagesEnglish: C1 AdvancedSeniorityRegular
