Asian Cook (Japanese And Korean Cuisine) - Hiring

Cezars Kitchen is seeking qualified Asian Cooks (Japanese and Korean Cuisine) to join our kitchen in Nexus International School, Putrajaya.- Ability to cook a wide range of foods in large batch quantities: Asian menus- Experience in Japanese and Korean Cuisine- Be a qualified cook: ( Certificated available upon request)- Passionate about food!- Positive and inviting attitude - you will need to engage and have conversations with customers Enjoy working around children: You're cooking for and catering to students, faculty, staff and parents- Self-motivated and can work with the team- Minimum of 1 year of working experience in either a) school kitchens, b) hotels or c) restaurants- Passionate about food!- Must have valid Typhoid, Food Handlers Certificate and Vaccination Certificate (2 dose + Booster)- Applicants must be willing to work in Kuala Lumpur**Responsibilities**- Work with the head chef to prepare daily meals- Plan menus by consulting with head chef, estimate food costs, inventory control systems and profits.- Kitchen operations management when Head Chef not present- General kitchen duties (prep to cleaning)- Own transportation to/from work location- Ability to stand for several hours at a time in a fast pace kitchen- Ability and willingness to learn new recipes/processes and techniques- Integrity to follow company policies and procedures (SOPs)- Work quickly and under time constraints Will be advised during the interview- Must have valid Typhoid, Food Handlers Certificate and Vaccination Certificate (2 dose + Booster)For the right individual, he/she will find this career very rewarding and challenging.
