Job Descriptions:
1. Sales Strategy and Business DevelopmentWork with head of sales to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to increase the business.
Work with head of sales to implement sales plan addressing revenue, market segment and clients.
Identify new business opportunities for both local and international market.
Cultivate relationships with corporate, government, association, and event planning clients.
2. Event ManagementHandle event inquiries, sales calls, negotiate terms, close sales, and plan and execute events.
Experience in planning and managing events, especially large-scale meetings, conferences, outdoor events, and exhibitions.
Plan, coordinate and work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution and delivery, including venue, catering, conference requirements, theme park accommodation, and transport arrangements.
Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted sales strategies and materials that resonate with prospective clients.
Conduct post-event evaluations to enhance future events.
3. Client Relationship ManagementServe as the primary client liaison, ensuring exceptional service and customized event experiences.
Manage clients, providing expert recommendations and ensuring client satisfaction.
Display good guest hospitality, obtain feedback for improvement, and build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Attend client events, trade shows, and sales missions to expand network and business opportunities.
4. Financial Management and ComplianceManage event budgets, proposals, commercial terms, and contracts to optimize profitability.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
Ensure all events follow MICE SOP and comply with relevant policies and regulations.
5. Industry EngagementRepresent the organization at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to enhance brand presence.
Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or related field.
Experience in hospitality and event management.
Excellent verbal and communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Dynamic 365 for business needs.
In-depth knowledge of the MICE industry, including trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
