Job Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing and managing daily operations of the accounting department, including:Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end account reporting
Accounts payable/receivable
General ledger maintenance
Payroll and utilities management
Budgeting and forecast monitoring
Financial reporting
Cash flow management
Stock balance record accuracy and stock level monitoring
Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
Balance sheet reconciliationsSupport the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
Assist in coordinating with external auditors during annual audits and addressing any audit findings.
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, ensuring they follow established financial policies and procedures.
Help implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
Monitor financial transactions, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
Provide financial insights and analysis to aid in strategic decision-making.
Prepare financial performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with various departments to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
At least 3-5 years of experience in financial & accounting roles, with experience in manufacturing being an advantage.
Proven ability to manage a team effectively.
Solid understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software; experience with SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems is an added advantage.
Salary Range:
