Assistant Accountant / Accountant

About the roleWe are an entity based in Australia and are seeking experienced Accountants to join our dynamic team in Penang Island, Penang.
Job Responsibilities:
Able to handle a full set of accounts and all financial reporting activities.
Ensure timely and accurate accounting entries posting, monthly and yearly closing of accounts.
Prepare monthly or quarterly BAS/IAS.
Prepare yearly financial budget and quarterly financial forecast.
Ensure financial and management reports are completed and submitted according to the schedule determined by the management.
Liaise with external accountants/auditors, tax agents, and other statutory bodies on accounting and financing-related matters.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned.
Qualification:
Possess a Bachelor's Diploma / Degree in Finance / Accounting or its equivalent.
At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
Experience in external audits or the development industry is an added advantage.
Possess good analytical skills, meticulousness, a positive working attitude, commitment, and good interpersonal and follow-up skills.
Well-versed in Microsoft Office software.
Able to work independently under minimal supervision and as part of a team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
