Assistant Accountant

About the roleWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Accountant to join our team at MSA Maintenance and Construction Sdn.

in Gurun, Kedah.
This is a part-time opportunity for someone with a passion for accounting and a keen eye for detail.
In this vital role, you will provide essential support to our finance department, ensuring accurate financial records and contributing to the overall success of the company.
What you'll be doing
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including accounts payable and receivable.
Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts.
Providing support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Assisting with the implementation of internal controls and accounting policies.
Liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed.
What we're looking for
Relevant accounting qualifications, such as a degree in Accounting or a professional accounting certification.
At least 1 year of experience in a similar Assistant Accountant or Accounting Assistant role.
Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
