Bakers & Pastry Chefs (Trades & Services)
Positive energy and mindset, happy, responsible and trustworthy team player. Basic knowledge of bread making; Basic knowledge of Viennoiserie is a plus point. Able to work early morning shift from 6am; Able to lift/carry items of up to 25kg. Keen to learn and show great passion in bakery Experience in using kitchen equipment; Understanding of health and safety, and basic food hygiene practices Possess food hygiene and safety certification Tasks & responsibilities Report to Head Chef/Sous Chef for daily task. Able to do mixing in either small or big batches. Able to operate with dough sheeter machine, proofer and different types of ovens for baking. Basic knowledge of bread making; Basic knowledge of Viennoiserie is a plus point. Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment; Able to handle the bakery station alone for the day. Work closely with FOH team to ensure quality of products deliver to guests is still in nice and good conditions; Able to work well with other kitchen departments. Work closely together with other baker to create new varieties/selections of bread items Ensure proper display of bread items.
