Assistant Chief Baker

_**Responsibility**:_- Responsible for preparing and cooking bakery products at the highest standards to ensure an efficient food service.- Provide ongoing training to the baking staff, ensuring that they stay current with new techniques and recipes.- proficiency in both managing ingredient inventories and tracking expiry dates with the goal of effectively reducing waste and optimizing inventory levels.- Ensures that a clean and organized work environment, while strictly adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.- Regularly perform quality control checks to guarantee uniformity and excellence across all products.- Collaborate with the Head of Baker to supervise and manage all facets of the bakery, encompassing production, inventory, and staff management.- Provide recommendations for enhancing raw materials, menus, cost-saving measures, and equipment to contribute to overall improvements.- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, finished products, and workstations.- Collaborate on the development of new products and seasonal offerings.- Other ad-hoc duties assigned by persons nominated by The Company.- **Requirement**:_- Passion for baking,- Knowledgeable in bakery techniques, bakery food items, bakery food preparation, presentation and preservation and bakery equipment,- Knowledgeable in practicing halal-related SOP in F&B industry,- Knowledgeable in food and health industry regulations.- Ensuring excellent kitchen cleanliness and hygiene,- Good communication & organization skills,- Manage proper coaching & training to the team.**Benefits**:- Attractive remuneration package;- Hostel provided- Includes EPF and SOCSO;- 6 working days;- On the job training will be provided;- Medical claim and dental claim;- Group Term Life (GTL) and Group Personal Accident (GPA) insurance coverage;- Staff purchase discount for Focus Point eyewear product;- KOMUGI bakery privilege card.**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per monthSchedule:- Fixed shift- Rotational shift
