Position Summary
Lead, develop & implement sustainable sales growth strategy for growing sales, profit, category and Acuvue's market share in the Independent Outlets.
Key Responsibilities
Achieves sales objectives in assigned accounts including forecast, sales targets, Acuvue's market share while growing the category.
Effective territory planning, preparation and account management, via the implementation of marketing / category initiatives and new product launches.
Proficient sales skills and group presentation skills.
Develops & executes an annual account business plan that addresses customer & JJVC objectives, opportunity specific plans, and outlet.
Develops & builds strong customer relationships & partnerships across all levels.
Manages co-op budget within guidelines, recommending avenues to optimize spends and to achieve positive business results.
Analyzes market opportunity by major account and implements programs to increase JJVC market share.
Provides communication and coordination of all channel plans with internal sales organization, partners and customers.
Participates in the development of effective distribution and inventory systems and procedures to service major accounts.
Qualifications
Educated to degree level or equivalent ideally with an optometry, business, or science background.
At least 1-3 years of proven track record for achieving targets and delivering success.
Strong communication skills and proficient in English.
Strong understanding of building strategic partnerships with customers across all levels.
Experience handling sales & key accounts preferably from Optical or FMCG industry.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of sales applications & principles, PC skills – Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and written skills.
Strong analytical skills with ability to be detailed yet strategic.
Proactive, innovative, independent worker with initiative, excellent team player with strong commitment to drive business results.
Qualified as a registered optometrist and experience in the optical industry.
Commercial/Key account management experience.
Full Driving license.
