Assistant Engineering Manager

Responsibilities: Work with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements. Analyse costs and prepare budgets. Plan workflow to meet specifications and deadlines. Oversee production to resolve issues. Optimisation of Production process and workflows Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.). Ensure output meets quality standards. Regulate health and safety precautions. Report to upper management. Requirements: Proven experience as production/engineering personnel. Solid knowledge of production management. Familiarity of quality standards and health & safety regulations. Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts. Experience in reporting on key production metrics. Excel in MS Excel and formulas. Excellent communication ability. Outstanding organisational and leaderships skills. Good attention to detail. Exceptional decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
