The Exams Assistant supports the Deputy Head – Admin and Exams Executive in the planning and management of both internal and external school examinations. This role ensures smooth exam operations while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, including accurate record-keeping and secure handling of exam materials.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Deputy Head - Admin and Exams Executive in the administration of both internal and external exams.
Assist in the preparation of exam timetables and seating plans.
Distribute exam results to students and staff in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the Exams Executive to manage inquiries regarding results, re-takes, and appeals.
Maintain and update the GIS Exams website as directed.
Communicate exam schedules and details clearly to parents, staff, and students.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all exam-related matters.
Secure, check, and store exam papers and stationery to meet regulatory requirements.
Set up exam rooms and provide support to invigilators during exam sessions.
Assist with the calculation and processing of exam fees.
Generate reports from ISAMS as required to support the exam process.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the management.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
MINIMUM ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Diploma level or higher.RELATED EXPERIENCEMinimum of 2 years' office experience, ideally including examination duties or within an international school setting.
Proficient in ISAMS, Microsoft Office, Google suite and general IT skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage unexpected issues efficiently.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively to achieve objectives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
