About the role:
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper assists the Executive Housekeeper in managing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department. This includes overseeing the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring that service standards are consistently met.
What you will do:
Assist in hiring, training, and scheduling housekeeping staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained.
Monitor and ensure that all housekeeping activities meet the resort's cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards.
Supervise housekeeping teams in the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
Monitor daily assignments to ensure that proper quotas and standards are maintained, as well as the ability to review daily arrivals, VIPs, Special Request/Amenities, Group needs, room assignments and coordinate with Front Office.
Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing the department's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations by monitoring labor costs, inventory usage, and other expenses to ensure compliance with the budget.
What you bring:
Minimum of 3-5 years in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
