Responsibilities:
Managing Raw and Packaging Materials:
The primary responsibility of this position is to generate Purchase Requests (PR) based on required quantities.
The Planning Team is empowered to conduct analytical exercises using shipment and sales trends, lead times, sales order records, Bills of Materials (BOM), and storage capacity considerations to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Collaborating with the Purchasing Department:
Engage with the Purchasing Department to address minimum order quantity (MOQ) requirements and material lead times to ensure timely production usage, adherence to sales order shipment deadlines, and compliance with Good Warehouse Practices (GWP).
Leading Packaging Materials Phase-In and Phase-Out (PIPO) Activities:
Take charge of PIPO activities, chair PIPO meetings, prepare minutes of meetings, and oversee product enhancement and new product launch progress for the factory.
Ensuring Effective Communication:
Facilitate communication with all relevant departments and staff at all levels to ensure material supplies align with production schedules.
Implementing Change Requests:
Execute change requests and coordinate arrangements to meet management objectives.
Requirements:
Good in calculation and able to work under pressure.
Able to communicate with all levels within the organization.
Good internet and computer skills such as Microsoft Office, Open Office & Excel.
Can read and write in English & Malay.
Knowledge in ERP or MRP will be an advantage.
Professional Qualification or Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in related field (Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics).
