As the key officer at the One Stop Student Centre counter, you will provide information, advice, and assistance regarding various types of financial aids.
You will be responsible as the liaison officer for financial aid bodies such as PTPTN, MARA, JPA, and others.
You will also plan and propose policies and procedures for the operation of application and submission of financial aids and other sponsorships.Key Challenges:
End-to-end management, coordination, and administration of student sponsorship and financial aid activities.
Maintenance, update, upkeep, and administration of learning and development records and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide information regarding financial aid and sponsorship via briefings, especially for new students.
Assist students with PTPTN applications via MyPTPTN number for online applications.
Remind students about application deadlines for sponsorships/financial aids via email, phone calls, and announcements.
Inform students to send related documents (i.e., sponsorship agreement) to the Student Affairs Department if required by the sponsor agency for the sponsorship process.
Review agreements before submission to the sponsor.
Maintain good rapport with sponsor bodies.
Liase and update information about potential sponsor bodies for students.
Coordinate visits from sponsors whenever necessary.
Coordinate interview sessions with sponsor/financial aid agencies whenever necessary.
Prepare any related documents for students for their financial aid purposes, e.g., Student Confirmation Letters.
Keep and maintain an updated database of student financial aid information in the student information system and filing of student financial aids.

Skills and Experiences:
Education Qualifications:Possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Management/Office Management/Administration.
Relevant Experience:
1-3 years of solid working experience with sound knowledge and understanding of customer service and communication.
Experience in managing and handling PTPTN and MARA applications and handling financial aid matters.
Personal Characteristics & Behaviours:
Good communication skills, both verbal and oral.
High level of commitment, initiative, interpersonal skills, and a team player.
Flexible and agile, able to work creatively.
Meticulous, analytical, and proactive.
Dimension:
The effectiveness and efficiency of the operation and administration of the student financial aid unit.
