Assistant Finance Manager (Group Complex Division-Property Investment)

Job ResponsibilitiesTo prepare/review management accounts and related schedules prepared by respective accountants in charge.
To liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, government bodies, suppliers, as well as internal clients/other departments of the Berjaya Group of Companies.
To prepare and review cash flow statements and to monitor cash flow.
To review tax computations for operating companies and investment holding companies, including the calculation of capital allowances, deferred taxation, and tax reconciliation.
To prepare/review quarterly reporting packages.
To prepare profit and cash flow forecasts and projections.
To review statutory financial reports.
To analyze financial information using Excel to calculate various ratios, percentages, and averages.
To perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Senior Finance Manager.
RequirementsCandidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional qualification in preferably ACCA/CIMA/CA/CPA/MIA or equivalent.
Preferably at least 5 years of accounting and audit experience (Preferably knowledge in the Property Investment Industry).
Good knowledge of computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Excel (Preferably IFCA).
Solid technical skills with proven strong managerial and leadership qualities to inculcate teamwork and deal with team members from diverse backgrounds.
Self-motivated, team player who is dynamic with a mature personality, high integrity, confident, and able to work with minimum supervision.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Pro-active, strong initiative, and results-oriented.
