About the Job
The Assistant Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the company's finance operations, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiency in financial reporting and cash flow management.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the full spectrum of company finance operations, including preparing and reviewing yearly budgets, financial projections, and management accounts.
Overseeing cash flow management to ensure financial stability.
Ensuring accurate and timely completion of payments and resolving discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.
Monitoring backlog invoices, reducing overdue open items, and meeting KPIs for accounts receivable and payable.
Developing action plans to achieve financial team KPIs and verifying supplier payments, staff commission claims, and trade applications.
Establishing and implementing effective SOPs and internal control procedures to improve finance and reporting systems.
Ensuring timely tax returns submission and compliance with Inland Revenue Board (IRB) regulations.
Handling tax planning and compliance, statutory audits, inventory management, and debtors' aging reports.
Collaborating with auditors, tax agents, legal advisors, and bankers to maintain compliance and efficiency.
Preparing and managing full set accounts, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and trial balances.
Leading, coaching, and managing the finance team to ensure effective performance and growth.
