Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, corporate policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
Lead the preparation and filing of tax returns.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, and implement strategies to optimize tax positions.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other statutory bodies to address related matters.
Manage tax-related documentation and ensure proper record-keeping.
Supervise and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
Conduct regular reconciliations of financial accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, providing guidance and professional growth opportunities.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, and compliance with statutory regulations.
Organize and lead new employee orientation to cultivate a positive outlook and comprehension of the Company's objectives, facilitating swift adaptation to the organizational culture.
Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including conducting interviews, and implement strategies for staff recruitment and transfers.
Oversee end-to-end recruitment activities to ensure timely hiring of the right candidates.
Plan and coordinate mandatory training/briefing sessions required for new hires, working with respective departments to ensure compliance.
Address grievances and manage industrial relations matters effectively.
Handle employee welfare and relationship matters, planning and organizing employee engagement activities.
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
Minimum 2 – 3 years working experience in a related position.
Able to work independently and lead a Finance/Accounts team.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of people.
Able to prioritize, work independently, and good in multi-tasking.
Good data analytical, cognitive, planning, and organizing skillset.
A creative thinker, self-motivated, and proactive problem solver.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Salary Range:RM4,500 – RM6,000
