This role is responsible for providing financial analysis, preparing financial statements and reports, and ensuring compliance with internal and external accounting regulations.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain effective internal accounting processes and procedures
Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
Lead and coach a team of junior account executives
Monitor cash flow and ensure timely collections of receivables
Establish and monitor internal controls
Oversee accounts payable processes and payments
Manage proper inventory control for the Group
Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
Analyze financial performance and advise senior management on potential areas of improvement
Oversee all the tax matters such as transfer pricing, tax incentives, tax deductibility of expenses, etc within the Group
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and bankers
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related professional or financial qualifications.
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or MIA membership or equivalent (is preferred).
Minimum five (5) years' of relevant working experience with exposure in AP, AR and GL function.
Audit experience is an added advantage.
The successful candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and analytical skills.
Mandarin-speaking ability due to its business and market nature.
