We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Assistant, Fund Service (Accounting). Reporting to the Assistant Manager/Manager, Fund Services, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Fund Services and its' growth.
Key responsibilities: Responsible for the accounting and administration of a portfolio of Private Equity and Closed Ended Funds and Singapore-incorporated companies.Record all accounting transactions and prepare periodic work papers, management accounts, financial statements, capital account statements and net asset valuesPrepare bank account reconciliationPrepare consolidation workings and accounting packagesPrepare capital call and distribution calculations and noticesPrepare waterfall and equalization workingsPerform follow-up with client as necessary on accounting documentationRespond to client queriesCoordinate annual auditsDraft annual financial statements and their related FRS/IFRS/US GAAP disclosuresMonitor/adhere to Singapore regulatory deadlines for quarterly GST, annual and tax filingsAssist on client service matters, maintaining and building client relationshipsUndertake general administration and other projects as assigned Key requirements: Bachelor's degree fresh graduate majoring in Accounting.Fluent in English and MandarinEffective client-handling skillsStrong prioritizing ability and organizational skillsAnalytical, meticulous and systematic in approach to workAbility to meet deadlines, work under pressure and multi-taskIndependent and resourcefulSelf-motivated, diligent, positive working attitude and strong desire to learnPrivate Equity/Real Estate or prior Fund Industry experience is preferred but not mandatory Company Benefits: At our Malaysia office, we believe in putting our employees' well-being first!
