Corporate Finance & Investment Banking (Banking & Financial Services)
Group Investment requires senior management with corporate finance ("CF") experience covering undertaking and implementing of corporate work in full compliance with stock exchange, Securities Commission and other authorities. This CF experience can only be found from those working in merchant bank CF Dept or advisory firms.
Job Description Conduct evaluation and review on business options/proposals, feasibility studies, due diligence exercise, financial restructuring and financial models/projections. Formulate schemes on corporate proposals, prepare all documents pertaining to the proposal including board papers, announcements, press release, circulars to shareholders and to highlight and resolve issues relating to the proposals as well as to provide solutions or recommendations. Advise on regulatory compliance and disclosure requirements. Check compliance and review disclosures as well as documentation in presentation materials, legal documents, circulars, prospectus, press documents, applications to authorities. Liaise with the relevant professional parties and authorities. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics or professional qualification ie ACCA, MICPA or CFA. Minimum 8 years of working experience with at least 4 years of corporate finance experience in the merchant banking environment. Good knowledge of the capital markets, securities law and guidelines issued by the relevant authorities. Possess good writing and research skills with the ability to structure investment and corporate finance proposals. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
